Account access

In TalkBrief 2.18.0 and later, including its TestFlight beta, Sign in with Apple is required to access TalkBrief. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use remain available before login. Support is available on our website. You are responsible for protecting your Apple account and device. Signing out closes access to app pages. Signing in, signing out, or deleting your TalkBrief account does not move or delete recordings and notes on your device or in your private iCloud; manage those separately in the app. Your TalkBrief account, App Store account, and system iCloud account have separate responsibilities.

Account deletion

Request deletion in Profile > Account > Delete Account after stopping and saving any active recording. Fresh Apple authentication and authorization revocation precede acceptance. Once accepted, account access is disabled while Cognito user deletion and account-data cleanup finish. A pending notice is not completion; reopening the app resumes status checks and retries. Stalled requests receive manual review after 7 days, with a completion target within 30 days of acceptance. Limited accounting records and their retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription. To reconnect an eligible subscription after deletion and new registration, explicitly use Restore Purchases. Consumed transcription quota is preserved. Wait for deletion to be confirmed complete before creating a new TalkBrief account with the same Apple identity.

Using the app

The iOS app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These TalkBrief terms explain account access, service use, and subscriptions; our Privacy Policy explains how data is processed.

TalkBrief is provided to help you record, import, organize, transcribe, summarize, and review work conversations. You are responsible for how you use the app and for complying with laws that apply to recording conversations in your location.

Consent to record

You must obtain any required consent before recording a meeting, call, interview, or conversation. Do not use TalkBrief to record people where recording is prohibited.

AI output

AI summaries, Ask answers, and generated tasks may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review important information before relying on it for business, legal, financial, medical, or safety decisions.

Subscriptions

TalkBrief Pro is offered through Apple in-app purchases. Subscription billing, cancellation, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and your App Store account settings. Signing out or deleting a TalkBrief account does not cancel your subscription or stop renewal. Manage cancellation in your App Store subscription settings. To restore an eligible purchase, sign in to TalkBrief and use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that owns the purchase. Your App Store purchase account can differ from your TalkBrief sign-in identity. Restoring does not grant a new transcription allowance or reset usage in the current subscription period.

Acceptable use

Do not use TalkBrief to process unlawful content, violate privacy rights, impersonate others, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass usage limits or security controls.

Availability

Some features depend on device support, iOS version, network availability, Apple services, or cloud AI service availability. We may update, change, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
